GPRS needs foster homes:

We desperatly need more foster homes to save more lives. Many Pyrs end up in city and county shelters where they are given only few days to live.

GPRS rescues Pyrs from these shelters and places them in foster care while they await their permanent home.

These abadoned orphans need a temporary home OR THEY WILL BE KILLED. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can rescue from shelters and the more dogs lives we can save.

Sadly many dogs die needlessly in shelters because there aren’t enough foster homes available.

1) Desiree: This little girl is so brave and sweet never complaining, just full of laughter and smiles. She came to us just turning 13 weeks; at that time we could not tell there was anything wrong. When Desiree turned 5 months, we noticed she needed special care her back legs were turning in and she was having a hard time walking. Upon having her examined, we were told she will need two surgeries to correct the problem. First, bi-lateral Torn Cruciate Ligaments inserting devices to attempt to stabilize the knee. This surgery is estimated to be $1,300.00. Second, Tibia Tuberoses Advancement, the TTA procedure involves a cutting and straightens the bones is estimated to run $5,700.00 for surgery and after care. Both surgeries are beyond our funds. Won't you please help this baby walk and have a chance at life with out pain? Thank you.
