Violet was found as a stray wandering in North Texas area. She waited at the shelter for several weeks before we were able to take her into our program. Violet is a vibrant young girl of only 6 mo old. She is sweet with all her dog friends and loves to play. She will give the sweetest little puppy kisses.

Within a week of coming out of the shelter, Violet was diagnosed with Parvo. With fluids and intensive care, Violet came through that like a champ! Now, Violet is in the battle for her life! With her first vet visit, the vet noticed an unusual sloshing sound to her heart. We arranged for her to have echocardiogram done to see what was causing this. Unfortunately, the echo revealed that Violet has pulmonic stenosis with possible patent ductus arteriosus, as well. She will need a more detailed powerful echo cardiogram done at Texas A&M to reveal the full extent of her broken heart. The surgery estimate is approximately $3,000. If we can find 300 people to donate $10 or 150 people to donate $20, Violet can have a mended heart and be ready to find someone to steal her heart away!
