Special Needs: Brayley survived distemper as a puppy, and after recovery she had two TPLO surgeries and has had physical therapy but is still building muscle in her legs. Because of all the strong medications (antibiotics) that she was taking as a puppy to recover from her illnesses, and then multiple surgeries with pain meds and anesthesia, she should have bloodwork drawn annually as part of her regular physical check-ups.
