As soon as you first look at Tatum, you will see why this happy boy earned the nickname “Tater.” Like many of us, he has put on a few pandemic pounds! At 148 lbs, a healthy weight is likely closer to 95. His ideal home would continue strictly monitoring his calorie intake and keeping up with regular exercise.

Speaking of exercise, this Tater loves his walks! This big boy is an absolute gem. He is friendly with everyone and does well with new people, kids, and dogs. The backyard is the best place in the whole world, and he will happily plant himself outside for hours at a time. When his foster dad opens the back door, he will sprint outside just to lay down and get that high-quality snooze in. He can be trusted in the house all night without being crated and has shown no interest in counter surfing or inappropriate chewing. Due to his size and lack of finesse, he would probably do best in a home with no small children.

Tatum and Salsa were surrendered to GPRS through no fault of their own. One of their adoptive parents passed away, and the other can no longer care for them due to health limitations. They have been dearly loved. Ideally, they would be placed together but could go to separate homes if necessary.
