Baby Coconut..Born approximately January 2020. She is super cute and sweet and loves everyone she meets. She is inquisitive, bouncy and fun but also loves to be cuddled. There is a lot for a puppy to learn so she will need to find a home where someone is very available to her in these early days. She loves the companionship of other animals and requires another dog to act as her mentor as she continues to understand the rules of her new world. There is a lot for a puppy to learn so she will need to find a home where someone is very available to her in these early days. Currently her Foster family is teaching her the difference between her toys and others’ prized possessions. This cute little girl is not going to be little for long. Now is the best time to jump in and continue mentoring her. It is going to be so fun watching her fill out and fit into those big paws

Notes:

PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS.

Our requirements for puppy adoption are simple and necessary.

  1. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside the family home.
  2. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size.  This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family.
  3. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day.  If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply.
  4. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience.
  5. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place.
  6. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application.  Adoption is not first come, first served.  GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy.

Adoption applications can be found on our website at

https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org/forms/ .

Northwest adopters pay the cost of transport to independent transport service.

ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog.  We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed.  While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer!
