"She is a solo act." Runcie is a sweet, petite four and half-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. She is beautiful with her white coat and gorgeous dark markings on her face. Runcie weighs about 55 lbs and has a good appetite. She makes friends instantly with people.

Runcie is house trained, not destructive, doesn't care to get on the couch, crate trained (although she likes sleeping near the front door), walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys daily walks. During the day, when not napping, Runcie is patrolling the fence line protecting the property. She is a good watchdog and not timid about new situations.

Runcie will do well in a home with an all adult family with no kids, no cats, and no other dogs. She would be great as an only dog as she prefers your company and will need confident family leaders familiar with Pyr traits and behaviors. Please complete an Adoption Application if Runcie sounds like a perfect Pyr for you.

All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing

Adoption Fee:  $175. Northwest adopters pay the cost of transport to independent transport service ($225). Every GPRS dog is fully vetted (current on shots and has been spayed/neutered). Adoption applications can be found on our website at .

ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog.  We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed.  While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer!
