“A diamond earns its sparkle from the pressure it endures.” Karma, a ten-month-old puppy, has a great life ahead. The Great Pyrenees Rescue Society (GPRS) pulled Karma from a high-kill shelter in Texas where she was found a frightened stray with mange. GPRS started her on her road to healing. Little did we know as her gorgeous long coat grew back, and her infectious personality blossomed, we found she has an orthopedic injury that did not heal correctly. This injury does not slow her down one bit. With daily medication and supplements, she runs and plays with frolicsome energy. Karma loves her foster siblings and enjoys hugs and cuddles. She adores people and is very social with dogs and people. Everyone she meets, she walks right up and greets them with a wagging tail. Karma knows simple commands, has no food issues and has beautiful droopy eyes that melt your heart. She is not tall in stature, weighs about 55 pounds, and would be considered a “Pocket Pyr.” Karma, born around February 2020, is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys her daily walks and playing in the yard. Karma loves water. She is a typical puppy when it comes to investigating everything through her mouth. She adores females and male dogs, enjoys playing with her toys, and doesn’t mind sharing them. Karma pulls the usual puppy shenanigans and can be a bit of a talker. She will use the crate but does not prefer it, as she stays well in her gated area when her foster mom is not at home. She will need a home that understands her medical needs, has a slightly modified lifestyle to meet her needs with committed to lifelong care. You will be adopting a gem if you choose to complete and submit an adoption application today. Karma is currently living with her foster family in Vaughn, WA. PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS. Our requirements for puppy adoption are simple and necessary.
