Old dogs like old shoes, they may be out of shape, and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well and are comfortable. Senior dogs lose their homes for a variety of reasons, usually having nothing to do with their behavior or temperament, but more due to the fact that their owner’s life style has changed. These dogs need homes just as badly as puppies do and make wonderful companions.
Uncle Bean is looking for his forever retirement home and very much deserves a place to rest where he will be safe and loved. This mature, distinguished, 8 year old gentleman enjoys sleeping in, taking naps throughout the day and likes a daily stroll through the neighborhood. He’s a gentle soul who greets people and dogs in an amiable manner. You’ll appreciate his calm demeanor if you want to chat up a conversation with a neighbor along the way.
He is obedient, housetrained, walks well on a leash and looks forward to car rides. Uncle Bean is a tad overweight and needs your help to lose ten pounds; we blame this on Covid’s quarantine. But who hasn’t put on a few pounds the last couple of months?
This charming, even-tempered guy needs a tranquil home with mature adults and a furry buddy would be fine, too. This gracious guy can be a loyal companion and your go-to-snuggle buddy. He will give you lots of love in return for a place in your heart and home. “Blessed is a person that has earned the love of an old dog.”
Please complete an application for Uncle Bean today, we prefer his retirement home in Texas because of his age.
