"Big sweet girl." Meet Beatrice, the social butterfly Pyr. She is your go-to girlfriend if you have errands to run. She enjoys car rides and has no problem snoozing while you get your to-do list done. She'll follow you as she wants to be wherever you are.
She was owner surrendered when the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society rescued her from a Texas animal shelter. Beatrice, born around June 2017 and weighing 80 lbs, is very people-friendly and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is housebroken, uses a pet door, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys daily walks.
Her foster mom feels she would thrive in a home with a stay/work at home person, and a resident canine companion(s) as she loves being around other dogs. A family with older, considerate children or a retired couple and large dog experience would be perfect for Beatrice. Please complete an Adoption Application if this big sweet girl sounds ideal for you.
All dogs and puppies require VISIBLE fencing

ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog. We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed. While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer!
