“Big Happy Pyr” Meet handsome Adair, a big smiley Pyr born around January 2020. Very much still a puppy weighing 73 lbs, he was rescued by the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society from a Texas animal shelter as a stray.
Adair is friendly and gets along with everyone, and has some basic training. He requires a resident canine companion to show him the ropes and help him settle into his new home. A big, securely fenced yard to run and play would keep Adair exercised and safe.
He would do well in an active home with older, considerate kids. He is a loving, smart Pyr and needs confident leaders in his family familiar with Pyr traits and behavior. Please complete an Adoption Application if this big happy Adair would fit nicely with your family.
PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS.
Our requirements for puppy adoption are simple and necessary.
Adoption Fee $450 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, rabies, distemper, parvo and health certificate for travel). Northwest adopters pay the cost of transport to independent transport service ($225). Adoption applications can be found on our website at https://www.greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org .
ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog. We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed. While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer!
