Hello my name is: Murphie
My nickname is: Murph, The Big Floof
My breed is: Great Pyrenees
My age is: approx 2 yrs old
My favorite thing to eat is: cheese
My favorite thing to play with is: My brother and sister! We play chase and bitey face all day. I like to steal balls and squishy toys from my Heeler brother the most!
My funniest quirk is: I pull everything off counters and tables and collect them in a little corner of the house. I really like to pull blankets on couches and create a nice little pallet for myself.
What do I get in trouble for: See above
What I dislike the most: I do not like to sleep alone. I like to be in my crate and have my people or brother and sister near me.
What makes me unique: I like to sit by my human and put my big ol Pyr Paw on your leg - but I don’t want you to hold my hand, I just want to rest my paw there.
Where do I sleep: in my crate in my human’s room.
Do I love car rides: I like riding in the car, I do not like getting out of the car.
Where’s my favorite place to go: Anywhere my Heeler brother is. If he goes, I go!
Do I like cats: Cats are weird. Why are the so small?! Why do they have sharp fingers?! I just prefer to run the other direction.
How I feel about my crate: Personally, I prefer my human’s tempurpedic mattress, but I go into my crate as long as you give me a treat!
Murphie would be good with a family that has another dog that likes to play. She seems to still be in her puppy phase (or never had one) and is really interested in toys and romping around the house. She actually might be scared of cats. She seems to not understand what they are - she has never been mean or growled, so with the right introductions, I feel they would be perfectly content with each other.
She absolutely loves to be brushed and doesn’t really mind the bath either. She knows how to sit and is learning down. She knows “off” as well (when she puts her big ol paws up on the kitchen counter!)
She’s easy going and will lounge all day if you want. She has a very loud bark that generally only comes out when she sees her reflection in a window at night.
