Introducing Smee, a delightful tri-colored beauty who’s as resilient as she is charming. Rescued from a challenging past, this spirited girl is now on a quest for her forever home—a place where love and playtime flow like a never-ending stream of treats. While her early experiences left her cautious of new faces and places, her foster family has worked wonders in helping her trust again. With their patient guidance, Smee is learning the art of making human friends, blossoming into the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. Born in April 2021, Smee has a playful spirit, especially when it comes to her favorite activity—mixing it up with her canine companions. She's a social butterfly among dogs, often seen joyfully pouncing in circles, inviting every pup to join her playful dance. If there’s a game of fetch, she’s the MVP, sprinting across the grass with boundless joy! While she adores her doggie pals, Smee’s heart belongs to her humans. She yearns to be by their side, a loyal companion through thick and thin. While she may initially be shy with new human acquaintances, when introduced properly, Smee transforms into an absolute doll, her eyes shining with hope. Already a pro at house manners and a seasoned traveler in the car, Smee is also crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night, dreams of squirrel conquests and belly rubs dancing in her head. When it comes to food, Smee’s food bowl is her treasure chest. She’s still working through some food insecurities, but she’s learning that humans are the magic-makers, providing comfort and turning kibble into love. In her quest for a forever home, Smee dreams of a family who understands her need for patience and reassurance as she continues to navigate her new world. So, if you’re ready for a lifetime of paw prints on your heart, Smee awaits, tail wagging with a dash of playfulness, ready to make your world a better place!  SMEE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN TEXAS ONLY.
