** Tune in to our Facebook page (Great Pyrenees Rescue Society - GPRS) every Sunday at 3pm CT to see our dogs LIVE! You can also find previous episodes on our YouTube channel (@gprspyrs). If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at info@greatpyreneesrescuesociety.org. ** Loopy is a young Great Pyrenees with a name that perfectly matches his vibe—he’s delightfully goofy, unapologetically cheerful, basically the canine equivalent of a confetti cannon. Born around July 2024, this playful, bouncy boy greets every human like they’re his long-lost best friend. Approach him and you’ll be met with a full-body wag, tail whirling at warp speed, followed by an immediate roll-over to show you that yes, he is indeed the friendliest boy on the block. Loopy gets along great with other dogs, is respectful of cats (even the judgy ones), and has all the basics down—he’s leash trained, crate trained, and rides in the car like a seasoned traveler just happy to be along for the ride. Of course, every good boy needs a signature quirk, and Loopy’s is that he prefers to dine from plastic bowls only. Metal bowls? Not so much. Call it a preference, call it canine fine dining—Loopy calls it standards. Beyond that, he’s an easygoing, happy pup who’s equal parts playful and sweet. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling with his goofy charm and friendly spirit, Loopy is your guy!
